At the Shandong Wuzheng Group’s booth, reporters observed a robust lineup featuring upgraded models and numerous innovative offerings across its automotive, agricultural equipment, utility vehicle, and electric‑vehicle segments, highlighting both technological advancement and superior quality. Among them, the striking “red‑steel legion”—led by the Renaultman 2304 and Aolilai tractors—drew particular attention.
According to a responsible official at Wuzheng Group, Renaultman has achieved significant market penetration in China’s high-horsepower tractor segment; its emergence has even compelled imported models in the same category to cut prices by 30%. The TS1204 tractor is Wuzheng Shantuo’s flagship product and has become a leading domestic offering in the 100–120 horsepower range, with sales doubling year after year.
Foton Lovol Heavy Industry showcased a comprehensive portfolio of products and integrated solutions, particularly for agricultural mechanization. Among the highlights were the Lovol Gushen combine harvester—featuring an industry‑leading 12‑kg feed rate—alongside tractors and a low‑temperature, recirculating grain dryer. A scale model of a Lovol demonstration farm on display distilled the entire farming process—from plowing and sowing to management, harvesting, storage, and transportation—into a meticulously crafted miniature landscape.
Amid a market downturn for most agricultural machinery products this year, Lovol Agricultural Equipment has strengthened its core competencies through technological innovation and lean manufacturing, achieving competitive growth. “From January to September this year, Lovol’s agricultural equipment business generated RMB 10.13 billion in sales revenue,” said Wang Yurong, the company’s deputy general manager and head of the Agricultural Equipment Business Unit. He forecasts that Lovol’s agricultural equipment segment will post a 6.1% year-on-year increase for the full year.
In the agricultural machinery power‑train exhibition area, Changchai Corporation drew attention with its electronically controlled single‑cylinder diesel engine. In an interview with a reporter from China Industrial News, General Manager He Jianguang explained that this engine boasts low emissions, excellent fuel efficiency, and superior starting performance. Its emission levels fully comply with China Stage III standards, making it suitable as a power source for a variety of applications, including agricultural transport vehicles and tractors.
Shandong Shifeng Group fielded a formidable exhibition lineup, bringing together nearly a thousand professionals from marketing, R&D, and supply‑chain management. The company made a powerful impression, with a 2,697‑square‑meter exhibit space and a thoughtfully designed, multi‑tiered booth. The display featured an extensive array of products, including agricultural vehicles, tractors, corn harvesters, electric cars, low‑speed trucks, light commercial vehicles, engines, and numerous other new models. During the show, Shifeng Group also hosted product launch events, dealer networking sessions, and a WeChat‑scan‑to‑follow promotion.
What has drawn journalists’ attention is the collective debut of the “Dongfanghong” power‑shift tractor series. Zhu Weijiang, deputy general manager of YTO Corporation, told reporters that the Dongfanghong tractors are on par with mainstream global technologies. The mass production of this product line and its expanded coverage across a broader range of horsepower ratings represent a significant breakthrough for YTO, which has long been recognized as a leading domestic “tractor expert.”
Zoomlion Heavy Machinery, which chose to launch a new brand during the exhibition, showcased a range of cutting-edge products, including wheat harvesters, sugarcane harvesters, and ride‑on high‑speed rice transplanters. Wang Jinfu, General Manager of Zoomlion Heavy Machinery, told reporters that the company has established a robust global innovation and R&D platform and is expanding into the worldwide agricultural equipment market. “The establishment, growth, and eventual strengthening and scaling up of any brand can only be achieved through visionary strategic thinking, a scientifically sound management system, a creative team, and competitive products and services.”
The level of internationalization surpasses previous editions.
According to the organizers, this year’s exhibition has achieved a significantly higher level of international participation than in previous editions. In addition to dozens of exhibitors from more than a dozen countries, including the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, and India, diplomatic envoys and agricultural officials from several nations also attended. Meanwhile, the Asia-Pacific Regional Agricultural Machinery Association Roundtable and Sino‑foreign agricultural machinery trade matchmaking sessions were held concurrently with the event.
During on-site visits, reporters found that foreign‑brand exhibitors—including AGCO, CNH Industrial, Case IH, and Kubota—generally place great emphasis on booth design and on using their displays to communicate their corporate philosophies and strategic visions. At AGCO’s booth, an open‑concept farm‑style design drew large crowds. In addition to more than 20 flagship products from its four major brands—Massey Ferguson, Valtra, Fendt, and GSI—the company also showcased a comprehensive suite of agricultural solutions.
Yang Qing, Global Vice President and Executive General Manager of China for AGCO Corporation, told a reporter from China Industrial News, “The Chinese agricultural machinery market holds tremendous potential, and users’ demand for high‑tech agricultural equipment is steadily rising. We will closely monitor customer needs and bring to the market cutting‑edge, China‑specific products.”
Case New Holland is another industry giant at this year’s exhibition. During the show, the company unveiled its new 4000-series axial‑flow drum combine harvester, which was custom‑designed to meet the specific needs of Chinese farmers. “We conducted extensive harvest trials across a variety of crops, and both the machine’s performance and its harvesting results have received unanimous praise from users,” said Bian Qini, President of Case New Holland Group China. This series of axial‑flow drum combines is manufactured at the company’s production facility in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province.
Claas’s booth was equally impressive. In addition to showcasing a range of products, including corn harvesters, the company adopted a creative approach to its exhibit design: each piece of agricultural machinery was accompanied by a life-sized mannequin, representing everyone from the chairman to rank-and-file workers—spanning all levels of the organization. “The company’s growth is inextricably linked to every single employee,” said a company official in an interview with reporters. “This design not only reflects our corporate philosophy of respecting our workforce but also delivers excellent promotional results.”
